Well, here I look really bad (ugly) but you know, only ugly people look
good on portraits.
How beautiful are [those] young "vlasinki"!
[meaning: Where did the beautiful (youthful) hair go?, (G.T.)]
Rajna
("Vlasinki" = diminutive from "vlas"=Vlah, in feminine gender) (I don't
know what Rajna wants to say with the last phrase. Either the girls on
the picture are Vlahs, or it could be a refrain from some popular song
describing the beauty of girls)

Dear brother,
It is already my 4th letter to you. From you until now we have received
only one letter, with which you made us very much happy, that you are
well/OK there with Ivanka, and that you have a little bit sorted out
your things/a little bit settled down. I am still not certain whether you
receive our letters, that is why I send you a little bit creased cards,
so that if they are lost, not too much to be lost. We with our mother are
now quite OK/so-so as regards to the health, but we in a quite bad situation
with the finances/we are bad off. And the Bakov's (?) are OK both ... (?both
of them). The youngest son of uncle ?Mitko (?Moshkovi) - Cvetko, died this
year from
"Miningit" (meningitis). The wife of Mitko (?Moshkov) works hard this
way she earns her living. Mitko ?at (or ?but, or ?us) write more often
